About Kingston Place

Kingston Place – Vermont’s Premier Historic and Authentic Barn Wedding Venue.

Kingston Place dates back to the early 1800’s when the King family moved to Vermont from the Kingston, Rhode Island area. The family had a very successful farming and merchant operation by the 1870’s with receipts totaling around $18,000 per month (that’s about $320k per month in today’s dollars)! In the later part of the twentieth century the house and barns fell into disrepair. Fortunately, we have just completed a historic preservation of the house and barns and are opening to the public in 2018.

The historic homestead has hosted many wedding parties where it has provided a convenient and relaxing environment to make dream weddings come true! The wedding barn, the main part of which dates back to the 1820’s, has all new electrical and beautiful new flooring. It retains all its charm while being ready to enable you and your guests to dance the night away on our new dance floor while your DJ or band will have all the reliable power they need. Unlike some venues “flying under the radar” Kingston Place has been fully permitted.
